Bio
MHS '69, then off to Franklin & Marshall and Columbia Grad School. After a year living in London, back to NJ - Seton Hall Law (1981). In 1982, I accepted a position in Amsterdam (tax law publishing), and haven't returned to live in the US since. I lived in Amsterdam for two years, then back to London (working in publishing, as the IT Director for a major City of London Law firm, then as a lawyer for the same firm) where I met my Kiwi husband in 1994, on a blind date. Ten days after meeting him, I spoke at a law conference in Melbourne, Australia, after which I was headhunted for a job as a lawyer with a Melbourne firm. So, within a very short time, I had a future husband and a job in Oz/NZ. Terry and I got married in 1996. We live in a small country town on the west coast of the North Island of NZ. In 2007, I decided to switch gears and did post-grad work in tourism - a Masters in Tourism. In 2018 at age 67, I got a PhD in urban planning - on cruise terminal development in Auckland, NZ. Terry - who recently retired as NZ' oldest practising dentist - and I cruise a lot (39 to date), and I write and do other work in the cruise sector.
