MHS Class of 1984

The Class of 1984 came back in full force in October, with reunion efforts led by none other than Stephen Glynn — voted Most Spirited back in the day, and he’s still got it! The company was fantastic, with some members even rocking custom MHS 40th Reunion sweatshirts!

The day kicked off with a fun round of Class of '84 trivia, thanks to the Heritage Club, putting everyone’s memory to the test on iconic moments from 1984. It was a blast seeing who could still recall all the details after so many years!

Following the trivia, MHS Heritage Club students led a nostalgia-filled tour of the school, starting with the MHS Senior Stairs. Attendees also got to check out the school’s latest additions, including the newly renovated gym, Athletic Gallery Hall, and the Learning Commons.

The celebration didn’t stop there! From 7-10 PM, food and drinks were served at Legends, and the party continued with an all-class reunion that lasted well into the night.

The Class of 1984 didn’t just come back to celebrate — they also made a difference. The class generously donated $500 towards Colonial Nation and the Heritage Club, ensuring their legacy will support future students. It’s truly inspiring to see alumni giving in action and the Class leaving such a meaningful impact.

Did you know? The Class of 1984 had a unique experience — due to renovations at Morristown High, some students had to take classes at the Annex, which is now known as Alexander Hamilton. Naturally, this meant sneaking over to Suvios for a slice! This little tradition eventually led to seniors earning the much-coveted privilege of leaving campus for lunch.

And here’s another milestone: The Class of ’84 was the first to enjoy the school’s newly installed pool! Before that, students swam at the YMCA.

Here’s to the Class of 1984 — proving once again that the MHS spirit only gets stronger with time!
