Do you know a Morristown High School graduate or teacher who should be recognized for their extraordinary achievements after graduation, or a former MHS teacher for their contributions to MHS as a member of MHS faculty and staff? Nominate them to be inducted into our MHS Alumni Wall of Fame or MHS Teacher's Corner! Nominations are currently being accepted for induction during our Heritage Day ceremony in the Spring of 2026. 

The MHS Alumni Wall of Fame and MHS Teachers Corner honors were founded by the Alumni Association of Morristown High School and are sponsored annually by the Alumni Association and the MHS Heritage Club. To date, 92 MHS graduates and 60 teachers have been recognized for their accomplishments.

The deadline to submit nominations to be considered for the 2026 Alumni Wall of Fame ceremony is February 14, 2026. The MHS Heritage Club will review all nominations and select 2026 inductees by March 17, 2026. Nominees may be selected for 2026 induction or held for consideration for a future induction period.

Criteria for nomination

1. Nominated alumni must be a graduate of Morristown High School and must have graduated at least five years prior to the date of nomination or the applicable Alumni Wall of Fame induction ceremony.

Nominated teacher must have been a paid faculty member – salary or stipend – and off the faculty roster for at least five years prior to the date of nomination or the applicable Teachers Corner induction ceremony.

2. Nominated alumni and teachers must be recognized as having consistently led a life that has brought honor to and reflects positively on the reputation and image of Morristown High School; 

3. Nominated alumni must have attained a significant level of achievement that goes beyond what could normally be expected of the average graduate of Morristown High School. … OR … an alumni who has, in a dignified and honorable way, led a life that exhibits an unusual level of service to Morristown High School or to our community; and, 

4. Nominated Teachers must have had an extraordinary impact on their students’ educational or holistic school experience beyond what could normally be expected of the average teacher at Morristown High School.
