Was a Navy AirTraffic Controller (1949-1953) serving on Naval Air Stations , Guam and Atlantic City. While at Atlantic City other MHS alumnus held other jobs, Tommy Meys "51". John Havas "49". Allan Bertholf "50", Billy Smith "49", Herb Williver "48". Shortly after Naval Aviator Mike Gallagher "49" was there too. In 1955 I travelled deep south to Florida and Georgia where I was an FAA Air Traffic Controller at the Atlanta Air Route Control Center. One of the highlights of my life occurred while stopped for a Miami traffiic light, I heard my name called out by MHS classmate Cherrill Heaton. From that moment on, an old friendship was rekindled which holds true today. I'm married to Shirley Stone from Columbia, Missouri whose current mission is keeping a tight COVID leash on her wandering husband. Incidentally, I co-hosted the first two MHS All Class reunion for Florida residents. 125 MHS alumni attended each event! MHS style prevailed!
